This was awesome! So glad we stopped. Their cornbeef hash is home made. Eggs were perfect. They have specials every day too.

Although many blow by not caring, those who do will find a pleasant experience at this one. Because business fell off and few exits up are all the "USUAL SUSPECTS" LOL unlike many T/A CP restaurants this one very well staffed and friendly..It does 1hr less than many 6 to 10 however one of the big buses to this one is a fresh salad bar well-stocked constantly the tables are wiped down and it is usually very clean..

Wow it was hot upstairs at showers!! Still sweating as we ordered oatmeal for both. He got his now I'm eating for mine?? Weird. Ok guess he made mine and it was too runny... okay... didn't know they had instant steel cut!?!! Guess they did! It was filling with muffin and craisins & raisins, Brn sugar etc! Yummy.

Country Pride Restaurant is located behind the Travel Centers of America Truck Stop at the Goose Creek Bypass at Peytonsville and I-65.  We have lived here for ten years and didn't know this little gem existed.  Wonderful staff, very clean, great comfort food.  It's like stepping back in time.  The decor looks like the late 70's but very clean and well maintained.
Good people here and good food! Can't wait to go back.

I do one show a year at the ag center behind this restaurant, and i hit this place every other chance i get. It seems to be a hole in the wall truck stop. But food is always hot and fresh. They have a small salad bar with soup. It's always clean and kept stocked. Daily specials have proven to be very good and the country fried steak is excellent. I've also had a patty melt- it was very good too. Just good fresh hot country cooking in a truck stop.
